Calling all young chefs ages 8–12! Join us for a deliciously fun, hands-on cooking class where participants will learn to make the classic French Onion Soup from scratch.

From caramelizing onions to perfecting that cheesy, golden topping, kids will build real kitchen skills while creating a dish they’ll be proud to share.   Students will enjoy a bowl of their fabulous soup and take one home in their very own French Onion Soup bowl ($15 Value)

About the Instructor :

Evy Johnson has dedicated more than 37 years to teaching French and Spanish in private schools, sharing her passion for language and culture with generations of students. She currently teaches at Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she also coaches soccer and track and field. Beyond the classroom, Evy leads international trips to Québec, Canada and across Europe, giving students firsthand cultural experiences.

Deeply influenced by her French heritage—her mother is French and her uncle was a chef in France—Evy brings an authentic touch to everything she does. Cooking has always been central to her life, and for over 20 years she has taught French cooking classes, passing down treasured family recipes and traditions to her students.
