In this fun, hands-on cooking class, you’ll master the art of traditional Thai street food flavors, reimagined with a modern, picnic-friendly twist. We’re timing this perfectly. The class will wrap up just in time for you to pack up your freshly made, delicious creations and head right over the river to Hudson for the free Concert in the Park!
It's a perfect blend of cooking, community and a summer evening outdoors. Dont forget your lawn chair or blanket !
On the menu:
1. Bite-Sized Chicken Satay with Peanut Dipping Sauce and Pickle: All the smoky, aromatic flavor of authentic Thai satay, but made in perfect, bite-sized pieces for effortless picnic sharing. Paired with a rich, authentic Thai peanut dipping sauce and a crisp, freshly made tangy cucumber and red onion pickle.
2. Savory "Khao Jee" Rice Waffles: A brilliant Thai-fusion twist! We are taking traditional northeastern Thai savory sticky rice and cooking it to golden perfection in a waffle maker. It’s warm, savory, incredibly tasty, and boasts the ultimate crispy-on-the-outside, chewy-on-the-inside texture.
3. Summer Sweet Sticky Rice: Luscious sweet sticky rice drizzled with sweet and salted coconut milk. We will pair it with beautiful ripe mangoes or sweet, juicy peaches for a perfect seasonal fusion twist.
Class size is limited to 12 to ensure a hands-on experience.
