Little chefs, big fun ! Join us for our hands-on cooking class for ages 8-12 * at Grand Fete , where kids will learn how to make delicious classic French madeleines from scratch! In this 2 hour adventure, young bakers will mix, pour, and bake their way to sweet success while building confidence in the kitchen . the best part ? Each child will head home with a batch of their freshly baked madeleines plus their very own madeleine pan- so the fun (and baking!) can continue at home.

About the Instructor :
Evy Johnson has dedicated more than 37 years to teaching French and Spanish in private schools, sharing her passion for language and culture with generations of students. She currently teaches at Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she also coaches soccer and track and field. Beyond the classroom, Evy leads international trips to Québec, Canada and across Europe, giving students firsthand cultural experiences.
Deeply influenced by her French heritage—her mother is French and her uncle was a chef in France—Evy brings an authentic touch to everything she does. Cooking has always been central to her life, and for over 20 years she has taught French cooking classes, passing down treasured family recipes and traditions to her students.
